News / Events: ********************************************************************************* The UMW Christmas Dinner will be held TUESDAY, Dec. 4th at the Country Cafe. Don't forget your gifts for Victims Internvetion Program (VIP). ********************************************************************************** Join us for Kid's Christmas Fun Day on Saturday, Dec. 15th from 9-11am. This is a FREE event that is for children ages 3-11. There will be crafts, snacks, games, and Bible stories. ********************************************************************************** Get
ready for “Santa’s Elves for Parents’ Day Out” coming on Dec. 15th
from 11am-3pm.
This is a UMYF fundraiser that is designed to let you finish
(start?) your Christmas shopping.
It is a baby-sitting service that is $15.00 for the first child
and $5.00 for each additional sibling.
There will be lots of games and other planned activities for your
children.
It is asked that you pre-register (and pre-pay) so that we know
how many baby-sitters we will need.
(Here’s an idea....drop your kids off at Kid’s Fun Day at 9am
and they will be happy and entertained until 3pm!).

will be held on Dec. 8 at 9 am. at the
church. Sheila Braum will be the speaker. Please join us! ************************************************************************************ The Beach Lake United
Methodist Church hosts two Girl Scout troops, a Brownie troop for girls
in grades 1-3 and a Junior troop for girls in grades 4-6. Brownie Troop 430
meets the first and third Mondays of the month from 4-5pm starting in
October. All girls from the
community are welcome! Jr. Troop 480 meets on a
floating schedule once a month, starting last September, usually on
an evening or weekend. Please contact Allison Francesco at

FOOD PANTRY:
Collected weekly. Your gifts
will help impoverished families in our area. We
need the following items: All kinds
of crackers including saltines, instant dry potatoes, canned meats,
puddings, & bouillon cubes
Please keep the
“eyes of your heart” open to any person or persons who we could
present a “Bag of Love” to! Then

donation box next to the red bucket.
We then can buy exactly what we need when we need it and it’s
easier for you, plus it’s tax deductible!

J The Honesdale Food Pantry and the BLUMC Food Ministry are two
complimentary ministries for your participation to serve Jesus.
Both can be supported in love prior to any Sunday service.
If each person brought one item, not only would both buckets be
over-flowing, but each giver’s joy, peace and love would also
